Christmas Class!
Would you like to come along to a festive Christmas Class on 23rd December 2009?
We will sing, move and play instruments to lots of lovely seasonal music just in time for Christmas! There will be mince pies and you can bring along anything else you would like to share with our friends!
The class is open to all age groups and is going to be very merry! Dads and newcomers are more than welcome. Cost is £5 per child.
If you or little one has any favourite carols or Christmas songs, please let me know and we can try to fit them in.
Hope to see you there!

Village Do Si Do- moving lots
Hello to all the Village mums! I hope you are enjoying the Do Si Do course as much as I am.
The music is a big change from Feathers, and it is great for the babies to be exposed to different styles of music rather than the same things all the time. All Kindermusik courses are different in content to give your baby plenty of variety to help in their development.
Anyway the reason for this post! There is lots of movement in Do Si Do and if you find you are struggling to lift baby, please feel free to bring a carrier in if you have one. This has been recommended to me by some Kindermusik educators in the UK who find that the mums in their classes are struggling with all the movement involved:

I have personally never used it; we have used the Baby Bjorn, but I am assured that it provides good back support.
If you get one, perhaps you would like to feed back to the blog so other mums can see what you think!
See you soon, enjoy those home packs!
